Welcome to The Hare

Just a few minutes walk from Weald Wood, The Hare is a charming and characterful pub with a bright and colourful dining area overlooking the extensive garden and a cosy bar with various snugs, complete with log fireplace.

The beautiful garden is a real hidden gem, with a covered heated outdoor tent area, a couple of colourful heated beach huts and lots of green space to enjoy dining al fresco or a post of refreshment after a lovely dog walk nearby.  Dogs are very welcome in our bar and garden.  Please let us know if you are bringing your four legged friend along so we can reserve you a table within a dog friendly area. Water and treats are free of charge to our canine friends.

We continue to grow our great reputation for serving fresh, seasonal food alongside perfectly poured pints, an expertly curated wine list and a delicious selection of cocktails.
