Refreshed, refurbed and ready to go!

Today’s the day we throw open our doors once again after our gorgeous makeover.  We hope you will be wowed by our new look which has been orchestrated by our award-winning interior designer Inge, a dedicated team of builders & decorators & by the team here who have added the finishing touches & made our fabulous pub, your local, look ship shape!
We have some brand new spaces for you to discover, a soothing new colour palette using Farrow & Ball colours, two fabulous-looking private dining rooms & the pièce de résistance: two new heated garden huts for exclusive private dining in our pretty garden named Hartley & Hetty! Everywhere you look there are quirky touches courtesy of Inge & her wonderful imagination including a 4ft ‘hare lamp’ that will be sure to bring a smile to your face!
To add to the excitement, we reopen today with the new autumn à la carte menu.  We have some mouth-watering new dishes to tempt you with starters including a seasonal wild mushroom tart, mains include sticky beef with coconut rice & a vegan truffled lentil & tomato lasagne & new desserts include poached pear ‘pain perdu’ and a rich baked apple and Calvados crumble.
